Cherry Blush by Les Sœurs de Noé – Cherry reloaded

After a week’s vacation, during which Harmen stood in for me, I would like to devote myself today, freshly recovered, to a fruit that was already a topic before my trip. Cherry Blush is a cherry fragrance from Les Sœurs de Noé, which is part of the Private Ruby Collection. This also includes the creations Forbidden Nectar and Red Berries Elixir, which I have not yet presented to you here. Both are now on my to-review list, because I really should do this.

Les Sœurs de Noé - Cherry Blush

Les Sœurs de Noé in the fragrance diary

The Les Sœurs de Noé brand was founded by Nadia Benaisa and named after her three children. You can find some background information about the label in the interview linked below as well as in the numerous reviews that I have published on this blog in recent years and which I will of course also link to:

Cherry Blush – Delicious cherry blush

Perfumer Jérôme Epinette was responsible for the creation of Cherry Blush, as he has been for several other creations by Les Sœurs de Noé. The press release states that the eau de parfum “captures the moment when innocence meets passion and the ordinary is transformed into the extraordinary.” That sounds exciting and leaves plenty of room for interpretation. The fragrance notes pistachio, black pepper, cherry blossom, cherry, violet, patchouli, vetiver and tonka bean certainly make me sit up and take notice. In addition to the eponymous fruit and its blossom, the tonka bean and pistachio also make me smile. Add a dollop of earthy, creamy patchouli and vetiver and a pinch of violet powder and I’m happy.

Creamy green and infused with a fresh sharpness, the opening of Cherry Blush reveals enticing nuances. Delicately fruity cherry notes interspersed with clear floral accents are added, accompanied by powdery violet facets, making the creation very gentle and soft. Not a tangy-sweet cherry bomb as some might have expected, but a calm, delicate, transparent and modern mix of flowers and fruits. As hoped, patchouli and vetiver provide a subtly earthy creaminess, from which I can – very delicately – sniff out the coumarin nuances of the tonka bean.

Cherry Blush from Les Sœurs de Noé is elegant and sophisticated, perfect for anyone who loves warm, powdery and floral fruit fragrances or fruity floral scents. The cherry is wonderfully embedded in the composition and is gradually enveloped by the creamy and powdery facets. A springy, summery creation that is quite feminine in my eyes. Absolutely suitable for everyday wear and the office, Cherry Blush is an ideal and incredibly pleasant fragrance companion for the warmer months of the year. But even on cooler days, the eau de parfum makes you feel good and makes you dream of spring and summer. Splendid!
