The colorful collection from PERROY recently arrived in our store, which visually brings a smile to the face and spreads a good mood. Mood is an excellent keyword, as PERROY’s creations are designed as a so-called mood palette. Good mood, optimism, light-heartedness, joy, boldness, freedom and passion are keywords that accompany the creations of the young French niche fragrance brand. True to the motto “Spray your Mood”, PERROY offers eight different mood boosters and energy kicks to spray on!

The PERROY brand’s fragrances are already visually very catchy thanks to their bright, eccentric colors and they also have a lot to offer olfactorily. Behind the label is Arnaud Poulain, who also works here as a perfumer and who we already know from his brand Les Eaux Primordiales, which I also particularly love and have already had the pleasure of presenting here in the fragrance diary.
And so I expect beautifully composed and powerful creations, full of attention to detail and craftsmanship, which reflect the extravagant look of their flacons. Based on this, I would assume that the target group is of a younger nature. But PERROY says it appeals to all “free spirits from all walks of life. The curious, modern and ultra-connected minds who crave expressive fragrances. For those who are always ready to explore new territories, as long as they promise a unique experience.”
PINKFIRE – #sexy
Let’s start this collection with the PINKFIRE eau de parfum, which has the hashtag “sexy”. Not that this matches my current mood – picking up the bright red sample was purely coincidental – but the ingredients make me stop immediately: Pomegranate, apple and ambergris. It’s pretty straightforward, but it’s supposed to be “an elixir of love” or “an ignited flame of passion”.
PINKFIRE is absolutely present right from the start. Fruity, tangy notes meet a luscious apple sweetness, which is soon joined by spicy, woody facets. My skin and the test strip diverge quite a bit here. While the lovely red fruit accents stand out more clearly on paper, my epidermis soon reveals darker, more profound moments, from which I seem to sniff out the characteristic, aromatic spiciness of clove. Medicinally tinged, a little smoky and much, much darker than the test strip, on which PINKFIRE remains fruitier, brighter and warmer. Gradually, the fragrance, which was very upbeat and powerful right from the start, calms down on my skin and fades out after some time with woody, fruity nuances.
With our first creation from PERROY, we are immediately entering exciting territory. Because PINKFIRE is just as powerful as the color of the bottle. A thoroughly eccentric, initially upbeat fragrance that plays with sharp, fruity, spicy and woody notes, resulting in a creation that is powerful, energetic and wonderfully dynamic. For me, it’s a seasonal all-rounder that I personally would rather wear in the evening, on a night out or in my free time than in the office. ❤️
