Last but not least: the Aromatherapy Collection by Marie Jeanne with the four fragrances Brume d’Hiver – winter spray, Brume d’Été – summer spray, Brume Matcha – matcha spray and Brume d’Oreiller – pillow spray. All four creations are designed so that they can be sprayed onto the skin as well as onto laundry or other textiles. The olfactory composition of the four aromatherapy sprays has been chosen to have a particularly positive effect on our mood and sense of well-being. It goes without saying that natural essential oils were used in the development of the sprays.
Below I would like to link you to my previous articles on the French niche fragrance brand – three in total so far:

Brume d’Hiver – Winter Mist
Perfumer Sidonie Lancesseur was responsible for the creations of the Aromatherapy Collection. I would like to start with the fragrance Brume d’Hiver, which is called Winter Mist or “Winter Spray”. The composition contains four ingredients that are intended to create “a warm and intimate atmosphere” and therefore have a relaxing effect. The spray can be used to scent the body, textiles and laundry, but also to scent rooms. Sandalwood, cedarwood, ylang-ylang and patchouli are said to have a calming, regenerative, stress-relieving and balancing effect on our body and mind.
As a person who is generally stressed all the time, a calming and relaxing aromatherapy spray is just what I need. Brume d’Hiver smells wonderfully woody, warm, cozy and reveals a certain depth and presence despite its transparency. Sandalwood and cedarwood are clearly perceptible, beautifully balanced and airily interpreted. Added to this is the creamy sweetness of ylang-ylang and delicately earthy patchouli, which I really like.
I can easily imagine this fragrance on myself, on my clothes or as a room fragrance and I’m almost thinking about spraying it on a text lily near my bed to make the most of the relaxing and calming effect of Brume d’Hiver. Incidentally, I would use the creation all year round and not limit it to the cooler months of the year. Anyone who loves warm and cozy woody fragrances should definitely put this winter spray on their must-try list.
Brume d’Été – Aromatherapy Collection
There is also a suitable spray for the summer, namely Brume d’Été. Incidentally, Brume means “mist” or “haze” in German, which was translated much more accurately with the English word “Mist” than with our “spray”. But such linguistic pedantry should not prevent us from devoting ourselves to the creation. Created from the ingredients rosemary, mandarin, petitgrain, peppermint and lavender, the summer spray “evokes a refreshing and healthy citrus mist. To spray on bath linen or as a personal fragrance for an even more intense moment of freshness.”
An exciting blend of citrus fruits, lavender and peppermint wafts towards me. In between, I can smell petitgrain and the salty herbal freshness of rosemary. Really great! Brume d’Été puts you in a good mood. The fragrance is also said to promote creativity and reduce feelings of stress, while having a loosening and invigorating effect. What more could you want?
The summer spray smells very natural and aromatic and captivates with wonderfully green herbal notes, which I can imagine on my skin as well as on textiles and in my rooms. Fans of hesperides, green herbs and lavender in fragrance compositions should definitely take note of Brume d’Été from the Aromatherapy Collection. Transparent, airy and light, a quiet and pleasant companion for any occasion.
Brume Matcha – Matcha Mist
Matcha, which has been the “it” drink of all health and trend-conscious people for years, is also used by Marie Jeanne in the form of the matcha spray Brume Matcha, which contains the ingredients bergamot, basil, peppermint, geranium and cedarwood. The powdered green tea is not listed in the ingredients, but I strongly suspect that the typical flowing notes of the drink are reflected in the fragrance in some way. The essential oils used definitely have a stress-reducing, relaxing, calming and refreshing effect and are said to bring inner peace and have a meditative effect. Sounds absolutely right to me.
Brume Matcha starts off in a cheerful, fruity green, very rich, very lush and spreading a good mood. Basil brings a certain aromatic, pungent note to the composition, which is cooled and invigorated by fresh peppermint. The geranium underlines the green mintiness and provides a very harmonious, flowing background thanks to its sweet floral accents. I definitely find these typical green tea facets, which I would also attribute to matcha, in the creation. Cedarwood also provides clean, warming aspects that offer the fragrance a contemplative base.
Brume Matcha is a green, Asian-inspired and very relaxed spray that has a spring-like and summery effect. I find the composition very calm and soothing, pleasant and uncomplicated, which is why I can recommend Matcha Mist to anyone who likes green Asian fragrances and can get by without the typical bamboo notes. Suitable for everyday and office use. For body scenting, I would rather apply the spray in the warmer months of the year. On textiles and in rooms, on the other hand, all year round. 🌿
Brume d’Oreiller – A gentle resting pillow
Not only a clear conscience can ensure a good night’s sleep, the Brume d’Oreiller pillow spray is also said to have a beneficial effect. I haven’t tested it yet, but I will tonight. According to the Marie Jeanne brand, the spray should be “sprayed on 15 minutes before going to bed”. I’m going to try it out. The press release also states that you can of course mist yourself with it to experience “an optimal time of relaxation”. The essential oils of bergamot, mandarin, neroli and sandalwood are said to have a harmonizing, balancing, relaxing, calming, stress-relieving and sleep-inducing effect. Personally, I had guessed that the typical lavender would help me fall asleep, but Marie Jeanne seems to have other remedies of choice here.
If I drop off while testing the pillow spray, and you don’t hear from me again, you know what’s going on. I would then be in the land of dreams. At the moment, however, I’m still in a vertical position and in a more or less awake state, which the second cup of coffee has also worked its way through relatively unsuccessfully. Bright, tangy citrus fruits spread a good mood shortly after application (on the skin), which doesn’t put me to sleep, but at least has a positive effect on the mind. Creamy-soft notes are added thanks to neroli, which sneaks into the fragrance. Milky, warm sandalwood rounds off the creation.
Brume d’Oreiller is a fruity-creamy and woody-powdery fragrance that I really like. Very gentle, calm, serene, wonderfully unagitated. These are all qualities that a pillow spray can or should have. I’ll let you know to what extent my sleeping behavior develops positively this evening. At the moment, I’m still awake. If you are looking for a pleasant, fruity and cheerful, but not over-the-top fragrance for your pillow and yourself, I can definitely recommend Brume d’Oreiller from the Aromatherapy Collection.
